Copper is a strategic metal critical to modern infrastructure, electrification, and economic development. At Siimoodi Minerals, our work in Somaliland is focused on identifying, validating, and responsibly advancing copper resources that have the potential to deliver long-term value for both local communities and stakeholders.

Our exploration approach begins with identifying mineralized zones and structural controls using geological interpretation and field observations. Early indicators across our concessions, including visible malachite-related mineralization, align with known copper-bearing geological environments in the region.

Once potential targets are identified, our teams carry out ground verification through field mapping, site inspections, and targeted sampling. This practical, field-driven methodology allows us to build confidence in mineral potential while maintaining disciplined cost control during early-stage exploration.

Siimoodi Minerals currently advances copper exploration across two key areas: Ali-Haydh and Fadhi-Hun. These projects are at different stages of development but are united by a consistent focus on responsible practices, community engagement, and realistic pathways toward production.

As exploration continues, our goal is to transition viable targets into structured development programs that support safe extraction, efficient processing, and sustainable growth within Somaliland’s emerging mining sector.
