Moving from exploration into production is a critical milestone for any mining company. At Siimoodi Minerals, we have progressed beyond concept-stage exploration by conducting trial copper ore extraction and processing activities in Somaliland.

To date, approximately 2,000 tons of copper ore have been mined as part of trial operations. This ore has been processed through crushing at a private facility to achieve exportable grades. While production volumes remain limited, these activities provide valuable operational data and hands-on experience that strengthen our understanding of the deposits and logistics involved.

Trial production plays a vital role in validating assumptions around ore handling, processing requirements, and cost structures. It also supports better planning for future scaling as technical confidence increases and further exploration results are incorporated.

Our approach emphasizes responsible scaling rather than rapid expansion. Production growth will be aligned with improved geological definition, infrastructure readiness, and community considerations. By combining exploration insights with real-world production experience, Siimoodi Minerals is laying a strong foundation for sustainable copper operations in Somaliland.
